We are a small family run and operated jewelry website business; we have no physical store location and there is only one Opal Inspirations in the State of Washington.  Crafting, artwork and jewelry design have always been in the background of our family and we naturally wanted to share our love.  Opal is a unique gemstone known for it's distinctive iridescent luminous qualities, reflecting the fire of colors from within it's depths.  This website is dedicated to the memory of Grandma Thelma Opal, someone who possessed the same luminous qualities and was a great inspiration to all who ever met her.

 The word "Inspiration" means, "...an agency, such as a person or a work of art, that moves the intellect or emotions....something that is inspired.."  It is derived from the Greek word for spirit.  It means, "the breath of life," or the "breath of God."

   Most all of our designs are original, one of a kind, so in many cases there might only be one or one set of an item.  If you'd like to have an item that looks like the one already sold, or with different colors or materials, please email or telephone.  Be aware that all gemstones, beads and settings will not be identical and that natural stones can have inclusions and flaws, which add to the uniqueness and originality of the design.  Custom orders will take longer than normal and you will be notified as such.
